The saga of the dead dictator continues?

Here is my disclaimer: I do not believe the dictator is dead. All you commies did you hear that, but I have received many e-mails claiming that he is dead. I am sure that they are trying to wake up the dictator so he can recite some boring 4 hour slurring speech to prove otherwise.

So just in case I have my special cigar ready now or for later!

Any info out there?

Update 7/14/06:

From Western Hemisphere Policy Watch:

Cuba State Funeral Planning Underway?(14 Jul 06) Several sources inform WHPW Editors that amid all the speculation to the Bearded One's demise during the past week, there may be some recent activity on the island - in plain view - that is fueling speculation that the Bearded One is very ill and near death.... When the Bearded One does pass away, an elaborate statefunerall is planned, one like any other witnessed in the Western Hemisphere. "It will be a blast back to the Cold War," advises one source. "Castro cadaver will be on display and will take an 'island tour' that will either start or end in Granma or somewhere in Santiago," added the source.

  1. All quiet. Not even granma is reporting anything on fidel. No speech by him, no high profile visitors, no ribbon cutting ceremonies, no mesa redonda appearance. Nada.

El Penco is lying low or he's really low like 6 feet under.

  2. They were waiting for the pricks for peace to arrive with the medical goods.
They needed the special scalpel, to cut up the old dead dictator into separate parts. They are afraid that if they bury him in one piece Raul may dig him up and use as a marionette to keep the charade going.

Keep your cigar, three will eventually be a reason to celebrate.

    Alfredo,

I know you did not believe my e-mail. Castro is dead,Chavez is in Cuba and strange movements have been seen in Havana the last several days. A mass funeral is being planned and security is so tight due to the worry of what the reaction will be.

check the e-mail I just sent you

  6. Toco,

I understand what you are saying! If the dictator were dead and raulita would take the helm, what would be the difference? Only the color schemes of the uniforms, the floral arrangements, and more color in the office furniture. We are hoping that the people of Cuba would stand up and go crazy in the streets. Do I believe this would happen? NO
