National Anthem


I don't know about you guys, but all this stuff about having the march on May 1(Commie day) and now the Spanish version of the National Anthem, I question the timing and the motive? I know I am going to catch a lot of flak from " Latinos" or whatever the term that is used, but I am sorry, our beautiful National Anthem should not sound like this! The National Anthem is beautiful and beloved by all AMERICANS!

This is our National Anthem and the immortal words:

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thru the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave

home of the brave?

La policía política realizó otro acto de repudio concentrando una turba de personas agresivas y amenazantes frente a nuestra casa. Arbitrariedad que, al igual que en las ocasiones anteriores, tuvo el propósito de aterrorizar, además de a los vecinos de la cuadra, a mi esposa Yusnaimy, mujer enferma, nuestro niño Dariel de 4 años de edad, mi abuela, de ochenta años y muy delicada de salud, y a mí, Dr. Darsi Ferrer. De igual manera contó con la complicidad y autorización de las autoridades del régimen.

Agentes de la seguridad del estado con su tropa de porristas militantes del partido comunista, funcionarios del poder popular, miembros de la asociación de combatientes, la federación de mujeres cubanas y del comité de defensa de la revolución, cuya suma aproximada fue de 40 personas, se situaron frente a nuestra vivienda, cita en calle San Bernardino # 265 entre Serrano y Durege, en el municipio Díez de Octubre, en la Ciudad de la Habana, donde permanecieron desde las 3:00 pm hasta las 9:00 de la noche, ayer 25 de Abril.

Además de las acostumbradas provocaciones dirigidas contra nosotros, la crápula agresiva impidió la circulación y el parqueo de vehículos en la calle, mostraban palos, cabillas, tonfas (armas oficiales de la policía), entre otros artefactos utilizados para golpear.

Algunos de los participantes llegaron en los vehículos siguientes:

Moto suzuki, chapa HZS679
Niva rojo, chapa HSX805
Lada blanco, chapa HAF463
Lada verde, chapa HAL227
Lada azul, chapa HEG823

Reconocimos entre los presentes al oficial de la seguridad del estado que responde al nombre de Aramis. El puesto de mando se creo en la casa del Sr. Héctor Nápoles, capitán retirado del ministerio del interior, cuya casa colinda con la nuestra. Este personaje vive del alquiler ilegal de una habitación de su hogar, de la venta de gasolina que se roba en el nuevo trabajo donde se desempeña como jefe de los custodios, así como de la remesa que desde los EEUU le envía su hijo Osmani Nápoles.

Por el entusiasmo dentro de la turba se destacó el matrimonio del Sr. Jiusti, teniente coronel retirado de las FAR, quien se dedica a agenciar viajes en su automóvil de modo ilegal, a hospedar en su casa por dinero cada cierto tiempo a su amigo Miguel, un comunitario que vive en los EEUU, a quien se encarga, además, de buscarle muchachitas bien jovencitas para que se le prostituyan, su esposa Águeda se gana el dinero ilegalmente realizando actividades de manicuri y peluquería.

Como nos hicieron saber ayer y en otras ocasiones, la mayoría de nuestros vecinos repudian este tipo de crueldad perpetrado por quienes supuestamente deberían dedicarse a cuidar el orden y la ley. Una vez retirada la turba recibimos la solidaridad de muchos de ellos, los que describen la implementación de esos métodos terroristas de manos del estado como prueba de la vileza que son capaces de cometer esos funcionarios, difícil de creer sino fueran testigos presenciales, contra personas pacíficas que no han cometido ningún delito.

La intención del régimen a través de este tipo de acciones no se limita a la toma de represalias contra los opositores sino que busca sembrar el terror dentro de la sociedad, demostrarle a los cubanos que tienen que someterse bajo el yugo impuesto a la fuerza o de lo contrario pueden ser víctimas de represión y arbitrariedades.

Estos actos de repudio producen daño psicológico de consecuencias traumáticas tanto en las víctimas como en las personas que son chantajeadas y obligadas a participar como victimarios. Se han perpetrado infinidad de ellos por todo el país, en los cuales decenas de personas han golpeado a seres humanos indefensos, ocasionándoles incluso lesiones graves, delante de hijos pequeños, esposas, padres ancianos, familiares enfermos, amigos, vecinos, quienes deben cargar con la cruz de la impotencia ante dichos abusos y el miedo extremo de que en otra ocasión sean ellos las víctimas.

Los victimarios y cómplices, como todos los cubanos, dependen del control absoluto del régimen de todas las esferas de la vida en el país. La policía política cuando decide efectuar un acto de repudio se dirige a sus bandas paramilitares (organizaciones de masas): partido comunista, gobierno popular, asociación de combatientes, federación de mujeres cubanas, comité de defensa de la revolución: para reclutar a los elementos que tienen que ejecutar la agresión. A modo de relleno también obligan a participar de la injusticia a personas que son sacadas de sus centros laborales y llevadas frente a las casa de los opositores, muchos de ellos en contra de su voluntad pero con terror de negarse a incumplir la orden impartida.

Como en toda sociedad también dentro de los “porristas” hay quien disfruta poder desarrollar su potencialidad de odio, maldad y desprecio por sus semejantes. Abundan los cobardes que en la manada se realizan al gozar impunemente de varias horas del éxtasis que provoca el valor colectivo. Otros personajes que conforman las turbas son los que tienen problemas con la justicia y la policía política les ofrece la oportunidad de librarlos de sus faltas según se destaquen golpeando a los blancos escogidos.

Frente a la flagrante violación que representan los actos de repudio, organizados por la alta dirigencia del régimen cubano y ejecutados por la seguridad del estado, la Comunidad Internacional no debe mantener una posición pasiva ni desentenderse de la gravedad de los hechos. La sociedad cubana no debe, a los ojos del mundo, vivir la terrible situación atravesada por Ruanda, o Yugoslavia. El silencio y el no asumir una postura enérgica y firme frente a estas aberraciones fascistas puede desembocar en un linchamiento masivo de cubanos cuyo único delito es defender las libertades y derechos fundamentales de todo ser humano.

La Habana,24 de abril.- El preso politico cubano Lázaro Alonso Román cumplió su decimo tercer día de la huelga de hambre que realiza desde el pasado 11 de abril en la prisión Melena del Sur,en la Habana.
La Agencia Lux Info Press y el Buró de Prensa Independiente del Puente Informativo Cuba Miami obtuvieron declaraciones exclusivas de la señora Vivian Alonso Roman,hermana del opositor al gobierno de Fidel Castro: “ Durante una comunicación telefonica realizada a la prisión,pude confirmar con la reeducadora Yari que mi hermano se mantiene en huelga de hambre y que no ha aceptado recibír asistencia medica,presenta la presión arterial baja,y esta confinado en una celda”
Este periodista tuvo acceso a la carta enviada por Lázaro Alonso Roman a Minaldo Ramos Salgado,presidente de la organización opositora Comisióm Nacional Cuba(CNC) en la cual destaca las rezones que le asisten para realizar el acto cívico de protesta.
“…Cuando Sali para recibir mi visita,la que me corresponde como esta establecido,llevaba un camioncito hecho de carton de cajas vieja y dos guardias uno llamado Parra que ocupa el cargo de Jefe de Patio y otro que se llema Ever.que ocupa el cargo de Jefe de Salon de visita,los dos me resgristaron antes de entrar al salon de visita y me cogieron el camioncito que era para mi hijo y me lo rompieron a patadas,y me amenazarón y me astocioaron verbalmente y despúes que se acabo la visita no me permitierón pasar el alimento que me trajo mi familia porque decím que latas no se pueden pasar,y ellos sabem que yo no como comida de aquí del Centro,y les manisfeste que sí las latas no se podían pasar que me la suministraran ellos,ya que mi pobre familia se esfuerza al maximo.”

El texto concluye:…”Si no me dan una respuesta satisfactoria,seguire Plantado hasta que se solucione todo este problema y que Dios apremie todos mis esfuerzos,por una Cuba Libre y Democratica.”

Lázaro Alonso Roman,de 31 años de edad es miembro de la CNC,fúe detenido el 13 de Julio del 2005 en el malecón de la capital cubana durante una peregrinación efectuada en el lugar por grupos de la oposición en homenaje a las víctimas del Remolcador 13 de Marzo.Hace 9 meses se encuentra encarcelado sin que sea encausado.Reside en calle Orelly No. 519 entre Bernaza y Villegas,municipio La Habana Vieja.Para cualquier información sobre la huelga de hambre que mantiene el activista de los derechos humanos contactar a su hermana Vivian Alonso Romero por el telefono(537) 867 0581 en la Ciudad de la Habana.

The dictator was pissed because of the bad connections, but rumors are that the audience went wild because the connection was bad, and that they did not have to hear the windbag do a 5 hour speech.Chavez commented that Bush was responsible for the bad connection. Actually Ya No Mas has the message that interrupted the call many times.

No tortures or executions?

The dictator continually spouts that not one person has ever been tortured or executed. I wonder what they were doing in this picture? How long will the world continue to ignore all the atrocities? To all the dictator sympathizers and those who wear Guevera t-shirts, how can you continually justify the madness.

Freedom fighters refused asylum

I guess if you stand for democracy and willing to fight for it against overwhelming odds your labeled a terrorist. Yet, when someone marches demanding immediate citizenship, demanding all benefits and more while here illegally and carrying a Che Guevera banner, that person is considered wonderful?
Now even the most comemierda can rationalize this or come up with a good arguement on why they should be denied asylum.Wait a minute, I forgot everyone knows the plight of a certain group, but the media and everyone else has no idea about the thousands of Cubans who headed to the Escambray Mountains and gave the dictator a fit for many years.

We receive the message loud and clear: If you stand up against a tyranny, risk your life for FREEDOM, and love everything the U.S. stands for: No NEED to apply for Aslym you terrorist! DENIED

If your Colombian and have been threatened to be killed, so you payoff the Leftist guerilla thugs to remain alive: NO NEED to apply for aslym you terrorist! DENIED

Here in the U.S. illegally, falsify social security numbers, take on fake indentities, demand everything plus immediate citizenship: Come on in and we will look the other way! Hey you might get amnesty! In the meantime stay as long as you want!

Querido ahijado: Gracias por difundir "........". Mis hijas .... y .... a veces insitan a mi esposa a que no me deje ver muchas cosas de Cuba... Dicen que me afectan emocionalmente y me hacen daño al corazón. Aunque es verdad no puedo dejar de pensar en mi Patria. Te puedo decir que en mas de 40 años que llevo fuera de Cuba no ha pasado UN DIA en que no piense en ella, es como el amor a la madre, no cambia, no envejece, no se olvida y vive, VIVE en uno todavía llevándolo de la mano, acariciándole el corazón maltrecho por la tristeza de ya no tenerla al lado. (....) tiene la fama de hacer el café cubano mas malo de Jacksonville. Tu papá siempre hacía unas muecas muy expresivas que me hacían reír. Tu mamá, sin embargo, lo hace muy bueno y a los pocos minutos de llegar a tu casa enseguida lo ponía a la candela. En esas visitas semanales, casi diarias, ¿Cuantas tacitas no me habré tomado? Las anécdotas que unen a nuestras familias van mas allá de la amistad... Muchas las alegrías y muchas las tristezas compartidas... Pero en el centro de todo siempre han estado Dios y Cuba. Tú también has tenido tu exilio junto con (...), al tener que estar separados de sus raíces, y por eso entienden lo que pasamos nosotros. Andy wants us to send it out to all of our friends to spread the word of the film's upcoming limited release. As many of you know, he had a lot of difficulty getting Hollywood to take it on. This film is very a very important piece telling "our story" for the first time.
