I am far from a baseball expert, but I do LOVE the game! This past week in the paper everyday they had several pages dedicated to the Dominican Republic, how they dominate baseball, and how they have the best baseball players in the world and how they were going to dominate the World Baseball Classic. Well that may be so and I do feel they have great talent and passion for the game.....but what about the USA, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Colombia? We all know that Cuba brought baseball to the Dominican Republic and if the dictator wouldn't of turned Cuba into a prison island things would be different.
By the way the Dominican Republic lost its first game to the Netherlands by a score of 3-2! Yes complete domination.
