“We are all in this TOGETHER”

From the bi-weekly Cubanology report:

By José Reyes

It doesn’t matter to me, whether you are pro-embargo or anti-embargo. Whether you follow the democrat way of thinking or you like the republican way, it doesn’t alter my goal. Whether you admired Batista or you hated his guts, it doesn’t really matter any more. Whether you are in Cuba, you are a Cuban exile or were born in another country where you and your Cuban exiled parents reside, it doesn’t make a difference. If you are 15, 21, 35, 40, 50, 60, 70 or 80 years of age, it doesn’t separate us. Whether you are interested, strongly involved with the Cuban agenda and you are not Cuban, it doesn’t alienate us. As long as you are truly seeking for a FREE Cuba, then that is all that counts. No matter what your plans are when Cuba is liberated really doesn’t matter to me, as long as it it free and remains in that state forever.

This in turn, democratically unites us because after all, it is the Castro regime that is in our way and it has been the Castro regime that has been trying to separate us for almost 50 years. So place your differences on the side and concentrate on working together because rather you like it or not, we are all in this TOGETHER. Iron out your differences, work together and get things done. Compromise and admit your mistakes and be true to your fellow compatriots and freedom fighters. Let’s not worry about the minor disagreements we have and concentrate on the big picture and that is of course, the dismantling and ousting of a criminal and irresponsible dictatorship that has only brought misery and pain to ALL of us.

This useless dictatorship is on its last crippling leg and very vulnerable to change, but we don’t want a slow agonizing transformation towards democracy, oh no, we want a drastic change, a fresh new start. We bring hope with us, that’s the main reason we are so united. Hope is something that communism always seems to promote but never delivers because it simply doesn’t work. In this process, we cannot forget the past and dismiss all the horrific damage the Castro regime has done to us, in one way or the other, throughout the last 49 years. They must be held accountable, they must be brought to justice and they will be punished and with extreme prejudice.

We have made big strides in the past 10 years and the internet has been the main reason. We are making our mark now, that is, getting our situation across to the world and we are making a considerable difference. We are united now and we will not be stopped, no matter how many monkey wrenches are thrown at us by the leftist media, we will prevail! No matter how many minor setbacks we encounter between ourselves, it will only make us stronger. Having a difference of opinion is a human trait and is only natural. As long as we debate our differences and respect our philosophies, we will settle our disagreements.

It’s a good thing, not a bad thing and it only makes us more aware of how important this really is to us all. We write in order to be heard but most importantly, to be understood because some people do not comprehend our plight. We educate the public as we make them aware of what is actually occurring in Cuba on a daily basis and we give everyone various examples, most of them first-hand accounts and reports. We protest against exploitation and human rights violators (the Castro regime) so the world could notice and everyone around the world can realize how our United Nations has refused to acknowledge Cuba as a prison nation, they have abandoned all the innocent citizens on the island and there are millions.

Let me tell you all who might have some doubts about us freedom fighters, we are well organized and no one in their leftist mind will stop us. We have no pressure on us anymore, we are the ones who are applying the pressure now. We work in our own special way and interact with each other very frequently, so not to dwell on one specific issue or topic. In this manner we can be more effective in spreading the good word.

We keep ourselves informed on all current events and share them with the world, we are only a click away. We have an open forum for all to discuss, we conduct ourselves in a very democratic manner and with total respect. Things have gotten a little out-of-hand sometimes with our readers and heated words have been exchanged, so what, that’s cool with me and I’m sure it is with everyone else, after all, we all have good intentions and we all care, if not, we would not bother.

If we sound a little fierce sometimes, don’t worry about it, it’s just that we are very passionate, you see, we love freedom and when we see it taken away from us and many of us have, then we over react a little. We are just protecting our god-given rights and are trying to make you aware of all the dangers around you, again like I mentioned just now, many of us have been there.
Our freedoms are being tested everyday, here in America and in many other places around the world, but in Cuba their is no freedom, I mean none at all, there is no freedom of speech, no freedom of expression, no sexual freedom, no freedom of religion, no freedom to vote, no freedom to travel abroad, no freedom of education, no freedom at all.

Cuba is the perfect storm, a true example of how a vicious radical communist dictatorship works and our job is to show the world, in detail, the result of it all. It’s right there for all to see, just 90 miles from Key West, Florida. We are all in this together and nothing will stop us now, we will prevail. Our goal is freedom in Cuba, some of us have been fighting for 49 years already and some just started very recently, we are all in the “same boat”, as they say and we are in it for the long-haul.

So our indifferences are just very small obstacles in our wide path which leads us to a free Cuba. Remember, most of the battles we fight are psychological ones because the Castro propaganda machine makes it their top priority to confuse us all and is designed to separate us, like this they can keep controlling everybody in Cuba and outside of Cuba. We see beyond all the misinformation and we make it our top priority to expose it to anyone and everyone who is blinded by it’s false light.

Although our struggle is more towards a free Cuba, we are also involved with others who are in similar consequences concerning their government and we lend our hands to them all, for we are good-will ambassadors also, it’s in our nature. If you really think about it, we are somehow all intertwined with each other. You see, these crooked governments all work together, the Castro regime in Cuba, Lula in Brazil, Chavez in Venezuela, Ortega in Nicaragua and so on.

The Castro regime is the main culprit to most of the latest evil uprisings, especially in Central and South America, if we can oust the Castro regime from Cuba, it would just make it much easier for the rest. There is something which some people seem to misunderstand about us, specifically the Bloggers and Website owners and its the concept that we are doing this for self attention. Well, you couldn’t be any more wrong concerning us but then again, your opinion is respected. I suggest you send an email to any Blog or Website you have any issues with and I’m sure you will receive a swift response so there could be some resolve to the your problem or protest. Us Bloggers and Website owners are very flexible and could adjust to practically any type of request. Remember, we are representing you but also you must understand, you are representing us also, we are all in this together NOW and we are stronger than we ever were, all of us, every single one of us, in our own special freedom seeking way.
