Judge rules in favor of rafters

Ziva has a post concerning this story, so does The Real Cuba and CB at Killcastro. This is great news at the onset, but there is a problem: How do we get the rafters back? Do you think for any second that the dictator is going to return them? This ruling does give a feeling of redemption, but also a feeling of a little to late. Am I wrong for feeling this way?
Do Something!

Journalist Guillermo Fariñas Hernández is risking his life and currently on a hunger strike. The media is silent, all the so called activist are silent, Spanish media is silent, religious groups and clergy are silent, and what is really disappointing: only 239 signatures so far? C'mon people why are you scared, sign the petition and stand with Mr. Hernandez for what is right!

Dealing with the Devil continues...

Today we had the Cuban Memorial in which more than 10,000 crosses, bears the name of a victim of Castro's genocide against the Cuban people. Never mind the genocide, state officials in Nebraska are planning to make their 3rd trip to apartheid Cuba. The objective is to "drum up" some bidness. Excuse me don't we have an embargo in place?
The Cuban Memorial

The Real Cuba and Babalu have the latest on the Cuban Memorial that was held today in Miami.

The media of course will ignore the anniversary of the shootdown of the Brothers to the Resue aircraft. My freedom loving brethren who are on the blog roll to your right, have not forgotten and continue to bring you the truth.

We will never forget, just as we will never forget those who were executed shouting" Viva Cuba! Viva Christ the King! Down with Communism!'

No, we will not have "socialism or death" we want FREEDOM and LIFE!

We will never forget:

Billions missing?

The Devil's Excrement blog has a post about how billions are missing in Venezuela and how Mini-me is transferring money offshore just like his partner in crime: the dictator. You sneaky rich commies!

Here are some excerpts:

The Venezuelan government is engaged in a massive money laundering operation, the object of which is obvious: to set up a pipeline with which to transfer’s Venezuela’s billions of dollars of oil profits overseas for Chavez and corrupt members of the “Bolivarian Elite.” Chavez has a good model for thie endeavor; Cuba’s Fidel Castro and senior Cuban officials are reputed to have millions of dollars in accounts in Panama, Brazil, Canada, the United Kingdom and other countries. Castro himself is believed to be a billionaire.
Pope gets invite to Cuba

News is finally creeping out concerning the Cardinal's visit to Cuba. The dictator has invited the Pope to visit Cuba. CB at Killcastro has excellent commentary concerning the Cardinal's visit. I hope that we are wrong, but it does seem like the same old song and dance. No mention or release of political prisoners? What about the current hunger strikes? What about the ladies in white?

"Don't mess with me, girl"

Mini-me launching a verbal attack directed at Condoleezza Rice. During his Alo, come mierda show he comments:

"She messed with me again," and "Don't mess with me, girl."

The most laughable comment:

"Venezuela is free and however much they may try to instigate internal movements here, we will defeat them,"
"Debunking the Che Myth"

Here we have an excellent debunking of the assassin Leche Guevera. Claudia Fanelli tells the truth about this rich, whiny, no good lefty who helped take Cuba down the path of ruin.Oh yeah, he killed a bunch of innocent people. Thank you Claudia for being a teacher and not following the path of many teachers, the slippery slope of communism!

Message from Cardinal Martino

CB at Killcastro has the latest concerning his visit and message. My only comment is that it's the same old stuff and it seems that the whole world has to change, but the evil dictator can remain the same.

Anyway, the Cardinal highlighted 4 points:

First, life must be protected from conception to its natural end. He emphasized the importance of the family in this area, and said that the family is the key to the future of humanity.
Second, hunger and poverty must be eliminated, and this requires effort on the part of wealthy countries, and honest and intelligent cooperation on the part of developing countries.
Third, peace must be attained through the attainment of justice, reconciliation, dialogue and an end of the arms race.
Fourth, freedom, especially religious freedom, the foundation of all other freedoms, must be granted to all men.
Betrayal of the people

Real Cuba has a post concerning a BBC interview with the dictator. I can not believe after 47 years they are many who still believe his B.S.?

Evil Plot

Here you have "Tricky Ricky" Alarcon with the President of the Iranian parliament Gholamali Haddadadel. Can you imagine what evil plot their cooking up! The visit is suppose to strengthen bilateral relations, do they mean the beefing up of the nuclear program in Iran, or the spread of communism in South America?
The media has all this information and pictures of the visit, but nothing on the current hunger strikes or the cardinal's visit.

What Happened?

Cardinal Renato Martino in Cuba for two days and what happened? Don't know my freedom loving brethren! The church played a instrumental role in the defeat of communism in Poland, but I am afraid that for Cuba it's not the case.
I want to thank those who supported the fast for the last two days, may God bless you and hopefully this will do something for the FREEDOM of Cuba and the release of the political prisoners. To those who wrote me and made fun of what we were trying to do, I am sorry you feel that way. There are those in Cuba risking their lives by conducting a hunger strike. I don't think it's funny, just wanted to show solidarity.

Everything is so quiet

Cardinal Renato Martino is in Cuba today and it's so quiet. I hope he mentions all the political prisoners, lack of freedom, and lack of free press. What about the hunger strikes? No, not that of Sadam Hussien and those that the press mentions.
I have a proposal my freedom loving brethren. Since the Cardinal is in Cuba for 2 days, let's show support for our brothers in Cuba by our own "hunger strike" or "fasting" for these 2 days. No press or anything, just our own personal decision on what we can do. The good Lord will see our gesture.
Let's show solidarity and support for those who are risking their life!
"You'll get slugged in the Bahamas"

Commies love code words and slogans to get their evil message across. Here at El Cafe Cubano we have our own slogans. Remember the old marketing slogan for the Bahamas: "It's better in the Bahamas." Now in the true spirit of what has happened, I feel a better slogan will apply: "If your Cuban and looking for freedom, we will lock you up and slug you in the Bahamas." Just a reminder what happened here is a video, so you don't forget.

"One Man Show"

Jose at Cubanology has an excellent article concerning the dictator's "One Man Show." Jose, te la comiste!
Vatican Cardinal heading for Cuba

Ziva at Blog for Cuba has a post concerning a Vatican Cardinal heading for Cuba this week. Now is the time to flood the Pope's e-mail and that of Cardinal Renato Martino:

Office of the Cardinal-Secretary of State: vatio26@relstat-segstat.va
First Section (General Affairs): vatio23@genaff-segstat.va
Second Section (Relations to the States): vatio32@relstat-segstat.va

I wrote a letter to the Pope not to long ago and by all means you can copy this letter or use your own, but please do something and let's make a difference!

No matter how you slice it up!

Just wondering why the MSM is totally oblivious to the real situation in Cuba and clueless when it comes to Cuban-Americans? I don't have an answer, but as the years pass by you get the feeling that it's not ignorance, but a cold calculated effort to help the dictatorship. What else could it be? Communist supporting communist. What they don't understand and what they underestimate is that no matter how they try to slice us up, we still bleed freedom, coffee, sugar cane, music, sense of humor, pride, and our dedication. The lefties have tried to destroy this for the last 47 years, but they will never, ever be able to completely destroy us, because God made us unique and it's a God given right to be FREE. You see Cuba is in our blood and in our hearts you evil commies, that you will never, ever take from us!
Is this legal?

The World Baseball Classic is a professional spectacle. Team Cuba has a 16 year old on it's roster, now is this legal or not? Reading this article you get the feeling that how wonderful and fuzzy this is and why not? If this was the big bad U.S. you would have all the lawyers, CNN, Univision, child protective services all over this, but it's Cuba and you can do whatever.

What the f....!

What the f... is going on on? Guillermo Farinas on a hunger strike and the MSM basically ignores the strike and his basic principles. A reporter investigating about the Cuban rafters gets the crap beaten out him and do you see any mention of this anywhere? Shame on you, if after this you set foot in the Bahamas and give money to these ass holes.
How long must this go on? Ignored, ignored, ignored for 47 years! The dictator erects some laughable flagpoles and it's front page news. The Cuban baseball team creates an uproar because they were not allowed to participate at first, everyone and the media gets in a lather, a U.S. congressman issues a press statement defending Cuba and why they should play baseball, yet very silent concerning hunger strikes, very silent concerning political prisoners, and very silent concerning the balseros.
Muslims are offended by some cartoons and go crazy, yet the media and some politicians here defend their reactions. Cubans are imprisoned, tortured, and silenced and we denounce these actions by blogging and non-violent means yet we are described as fanatical, Miami-Mafia, or right wingers? We have over 20 million illegals in this country and the media describes and shows every real or perceived injustice, but 15 balseros are immediately taken back to the island prison and not one peep from any news organization.
What the f... is going on???
Blog Away

"llego, llego, el hombre de guagaunco!"(Can anyone name the song and the group?) I'm back and ready to blog away my freedom loving brethren! I can see the fellow bloggers are on top of things and leading the struggle against the brutal tyranny.

To my freedom loving brethren, been away from my computer and e-mails and will continue to be away until the end of the week. Please be patient and I will get back to your e-mails as soon as I can.

Something very sneaky going on....

Here you have Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, receiving a message from the dictator courtesy of Felipe Perez Roque. Very scary folks and who knows what devilish plot is undertaking between these two countries!
Mini-me says: "Bush worse than Hitler"

Wait a minute, didn't Mini-me make anti-jewish statements, doesn't support Israel, and is taking basic freedoms away from the Venezuelan people? Seems like the name calling is misdirected at the wrong person and the wrong ideology.
Here is a sampling of mini-me's off the wall quotes:

"The imperialist, genocidal, fascist attitude of the U.S. president has no limits. I think Hitler would be like a suckling baby next to George W. Bush,"

How about this quote:

"I ask for permission ... to buy another cargo of arms because the gringos want us unarmed. We have to defend our fatherland," he said. "Venezuela needs 1 million well-equipped men and women, and well-armed."

Mini-me in Cuba

Mini-me is in Cuba for UNESCO's 2005 Jose Marti International Prize. The disgrace is scheduled for this evening. The dictator said he is expecting(forcing) 20,000 people in revolution plaza. What a shame that mini-me's name is even metioned in the same breath as the beloved Jose Marti.
The Struggle Continues...

Ziva at Blog for Cuba has the latest on the eight balseros. CB at Killcastro urges you to write a letter to your local politicians. Juan at Paxty Pages has a post concerning U.S. business dealings with the dictator. Val at Babalu has an article from Humberto Fontova.

Thank You EU!

From the Irish Examiner.com:

EU calls for pressure on Cuba over prisoners

The European Parliament today urged EU member states to increase their pressure on Cuba to release all political prisoners. In a resolution, politicians also called for human rights issues to be raised by every high-level EU visitor to Cuba.“In 2005 no prisoners of conscience held in Cuba were released and … the number of political prisoners significantly increased,” said the resolution, which did not calling for renewed sanctions against the island.Ties between Cuba and the European Union have been strained over the issues of human rights and political freedoms. The EU imposed sanctions on the communist island in 2003 after Cuban authorities detained 75 dissidents on grounds that they were engaged in treasonous activities. The activists received prison terms averaging 20 years.
Cuban authorities released 14 of the prisoners for medical reasons in 2004, and in January the following year, the EU lifted its sanctions, which had included shunning high-level talks with Cuban officials.“Scores of independent journalists, peaceful dissidents and upholders of human rights are still being held in jail in subhuman conditions,” the parliament resolution said.Last December, the Cuban government did not allow a women’s group demanding the liberation of Cuban political prisoners to travel to Strasbourg, France, in time to receive the EU’s top human rights prize. The European Parliament, which awards the Sakharov Prize, urged the Cuban government to lift the travel ban on the group, known as The Ladies in White.

Photos of the truth

Czech supermodel Helena Houdova was detained by police in Cuba for taking pictures of the real Cuba. Could it be a picture like this one in Havana? First the pictures, then the ticker, all dealing with the truth.
Guayabera wearing Bharrat Jagdeo in Cuber

President Bharrat Jagdeo of Guyana is in Cuber asking for more assistance. Don't you cringe everytime these suckers don a guayabera and simply cater to the dictator.
MLB is complying with China

Can you believe this nonsense:

Under pressure from China, Major League Baseball is forcing Taiwan to compete in the upcoming World Baseball Classic under the name "Chinese Taipei" and to not display the island nation's flag or have its anthem played.

I guess China can tell Google and MLB what to do!
